Steven Williams, our office administrator, is the friendly voice you hear or face you see when you call or visit the station. He is a native of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas and is the youngest of three children born to a Baptist minister and homemaker. He started in radio at an early age along side his father. At age 12 he began taking piano lessons and discovered music to be one of his passions. He graduated from Central High School in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas in 2001. He is currently a student at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where his area of concentration is Music Education. He also serves as the pianist for Rose Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff.
Steven’s musical talent doesn’t stop at playing the piano, he sings as well. He is a member of God's Harmony Quartet Group. The group joined together as a product of the UAPB Vesper Choir under the direction of Dr. Michael Bates in 2002. He served as student conductor for UAPB Vesper Choir from 2002 till 2005. His favorite hobby is fishing and he aspires to teach music at the secondary grade level. Steven also enjoys choral and classical literature as well as spirituals.
